Research

• Tillage strategies for corn, soybean, cotton, and wheat. • Working on issues and strategies related to soil health, carbon sequestration, and saltwater intrusion. • Regenerative agriculture practices for higher yield return and optimum soil health. • Soil management training.

Extension

• Provide training and leadership to county agents in the Coastal Plain region of North Carolina. • Develop extension and research programs related to climate-smart soil management strategies.
